My take on Steemit after SteemFest 2... and the team at Steemit.com have landed squarely on their feet since the Larimer departure. They've worked through the necessary transitions and have now found their own voice. They have a vested interest in seeing Steemit and Steem do well... as do we. We may, at times, disagree on project priorities, but we share the same overall vision.
So, as I see it, patience at this time is paramount. Yes, there's still some house keeping to do. But, opportunities like Steemit are rare. They have a life of their own. They're difficult to speed up or slow down. So do your thing, make your 'play' and enjoy the ride.
Lastly, it's always good to set up a few personal guidelines to insure you're steadily 'steeming' forward... on course. Mine are very simple.
"Post original content only, exercise my 'witness' vote wisely, be a thoughtful and discerning curator, support a humanitarian effort daily, set aside a few Steem from each blog for my future 'nest egg', take some income to reward myself or to support my projects, and always strive to leave the Steemit 'room' at the end of the day in better shape than when I entered it." Do these daily and I believe good things will happen!
Stay positive and stay well!
