Here's what they want me to look like in 'The Order of Things to Come' ! How am I doing? Ha! Who is this guy anyway?
Since this is an union shoot we need to have the actors and crew involved signed on to the co-op partnership. There will be a small group of people performing very important services on set - usually called Assistant Directors (AD's) or Grip Assistant (lighting) or Gaffer (electrical) - who will be paid nominal honorariums in the range of $50-$100 dollars. They will not be partners in the project. However, they will get a specific credit for performing the specific job and will appear in the credits.
The budget here is general. Independent Filmmaking is all about utilizing the resources available to you. There are compromises to be made yes. But the goal is to make the best film you can with the resources at hand. Remenber, filmmaking is all about story.
