Weekend Recap
Hi Friends,
This weekend was partly fun and partly miserable.
We headed out of town to the Colorado River in Arizona to be with family. We spent a lot of time in the boat and swimming, which was a lot of fun, but also a bit draining as we were in the sun a lot and it was super hot. The hottest I saw was 120 degrees Fahrenheit!
The house cooling unit is not an AC unit but more of an air cooling system known as a swamp cooler. We mostly stay wet, so it is Ok when you are in the house and at night, it was not fun as you cant stay cool. With kids, managing the heat is difficult and we quickly lose patience as we are a bit miserable as well.
We have survived so far, and are heading home tomorrow late morning. Hopefully we will have a smooth last day, and I am already looking forward to my cool house.
