My wife and I were able to get a much needed night out last weekend. Two kids under 3 years old is always a lot of work, and we have been battling sicknesses the first 4 weeks of 2018, so this was a great change of pace.
My wife picked up some box seats to a concert at the Microsoft Theater in LA to see Justin Moore, a country artist I enjoy, as a birthday present for me. This was my first time being at the Microsoft Theater venue, and I thoroughly enjoyed the concert and venue. The acoustics were great and the venue is big enough to attract decent musicians/shows, but small enough that you don’t feel like you need binoculars to see the performers as you do in the big stadiums. If you have a chance to see something there, I recommend it.
Parking is always a challenge in downtown LA – it is crowded and the spots are too small for my truck. We decided to splurge and park right next to the venue in a structure (at a cost of $30 😝) and I was pleasantly surprised when they pointed me a different direction in the structure and I got to park in extra-large spots where all the other trucks were parked! Nice!
We had a great night, but I can’t say the same for my wife’s parents who were generously watching the kids, as they ended up getting sick with the cold and sore throat our family has been battling… sorry! 🤷♂️
I hope all my Steemit friends had a great weekend as well!
