The last couple of weekends have been spent out of the city for me – one weekend in Texas exploring the State, and the next in a farming town in California visiting apple orchards and pumpkin patches.
I can definitely see the appeal of living in the countryside – more space, more freedom, less crowded, pretty views, lots to explore, etc. I live in the city, which definitely has advantages as well – easy access to entertainment, restaurants, grocery stores, friends, neighbors.
Given there are both pros and cons to living in the city and the countryside – which would you rather live in and why?
Personally, I like the idea of having both a city and country house so that you can spend time at both, but that is not always a practical option for most people (myself included!).
