Rate Limits per Hive User

The up-to-date rate limits can always be found on the v4vapp status page but I'll post them here now, the 4 hour limit has gone up from 400,000 sats to 600,000 sats and the others by similar amounts.

Quick Notes
- These limits control how much you can convert/send via the Hive → Lightning gateway (sats on the Lightning Network).
- Equivalents in Hive/HBD are approximate and fluctuate with the current exchange rate.
- The shortest window (4 hours) is the most restrictive for quick bursts.
- Longer periods allow higher total volume but are still capped.
Fees
Because of the way in which I'm changing the system to use Magi as a back end (not quite there yet) I'm going to remove this previously hidden 0.2% and just call the fee 1.9%. This won't change the prices in real terms.
Magi Integration
Lightning to Magi Sats
I do have a working system to allow you to receive Magi Sats via Lightning Address.
The way this works is that sats can be sent to a Lightning address (which looks like an email address) from most Lightning wallets. Your address is:
<hive name>@magi.v4v.app
This will be sent to a BTC account on Magi and if you log in to their Altera Magi front end with your Hive account you will see the sats.
There is a fee for this: the same 50 Sats + 1.9% as there is for converting Hive/HBD to Sats or vice versa.
Lightning to Magi Sats Via an API Invoice
This can also be done with an invoice and via the API for
Magi Sats to Lightning
This is working, but there are no front ends which surface this yet. It can be controlled with custom_json on Hive if you're a developer. If you want to explore this with me, get in touch in the comments. You can send Magi Sats to custom_json along with an invoice to pay, and it will be paid, in a similar way to how I handle Hive to Lighting at present.
