Good meal in Lilafured Hungary

I love walking in the forest and going on excursions. Last week, I visited Lilafured and I used the fantastic railway taking you deep into the forest. But, after a long walk back I was really hungry and needed some food, and thus, I decided to enjoy one of the daily menus at Park Bufe.

Park Bufe serves traditional Hungarian meals and you sit outdoor eating them on benches. This is a typical restaurant you visit after or before a walk in the forest, and they have two dails menus available suitable for both adults and kids. I ate a soup first followed by a traditional Hungarian wiener schnitzel with fries.

The soup was cooked with lots of bones in it (then the bones are removed before you get the soup), but thus it is full of taste and I got it with some pasta in it. This was really nice on a hot day after a long walk.

The Wiener Schnitzel was completely fresh and tasted the way it should. Nothing super extreme, but just the way it normally is. To be honest, it is quite hard to do something special with a wiener schnitzel, so this was just ideal! The cucumber salad coming with the food was nice, even though this could have been better.

I can easily imagine eating in Park Bufe if I visit Lilafured again, simply because the price was so nice and the food was good, and the portions were more than large enough.
