Elon Musky tells the world he is going to make battery powered interstate trucks. And, they will charge in minutes. And no one asked what super-suits he would design to hook up that much power.
People ask, when they hear about rolling black outs, why don't they build more power plants? Not realizing that they are asking for the moon.
Companies like John Deer and many car companies are making it impossible for a person to repair their own vehicle. And most people believe it is just the price of advancement. That these things just become more complicated.
Since we do not have technically knowledgeable people, those in power, and their media mouth pieces paint us a picture that is a sham. We can't even tell a lie from reality We are often given conflicting statements, and just told that "you are just not smart enough to understand". Because we do not comprehend technology, we are bamboozled every day.
And the reason you do not understand is a real conspiracy theory fact
It breaks just after the warranty expires.
Many people say they believe this, but not really. However, it is true, because the engineers for that corporation are paid to make it just strong enough to last 5 years, and not longer. Ford had (maybe still does) an office in Phoenix where they worked on stripping metal from a part until it lasted just long enough. In this way, Ford would sell more replacement parts.
And, the sales of replacement parts is where it is at. The car sales is nothing. And has often been done at a loss, to get people into the system.
For cheaper goods, like coffee makers, it is made to break down. There have even been companies that put a part into the conveniently digital "appliance" to where it would stop working after so many uses. To the manufacturer, it would cost a LOT more to make it reparable and you cant sell a little plastic O-ring for enough to make it profitable.
I know lots of repair people who know these things, but cannot do anything about it.
They tell people all the time just to buy a new one. Because it will cost them more to fix it than them going and buying a new tool at the Homey Despot.
It is PLANNED obsolescence.
And, garage based manufacturing is coming, and oh, the turns will table! (You can go print that O-ring on your 3D printer, and be back in the coffee making business in no time.)
Going Green
Green, as in, money in the bank. Did you think they meant green as in trees? Or saving the planet?
People believe in windmills. But, this is only because they are technically illiterate.
The average windmill will not pay the energy back for building it. It is a net negative. It loses energy. But, it loses energy from a cheap, polluting, country and provides "clean" electricity in a rich country. Planet wide, we are wasting energy.
Solar panels are not much better, but at least once built, they can provide remote areas with electricity without much maintenance.
Battery powered electric vehicles produce more toxins and pollution than your standard ICE powered car will ever make, before it even leaves the showroom.
Battery powered, electric vehicles only make sense in ONE condition.
- The driving range is small.
- The vehicle can be charged at night, when there is excess electrical capacity.
- The weather is mostly warm. Little or no freezing days.
Change any one of these, and an EV is just making things worse.
To give a specific example, after a Tesla's battery dies, the vehicle is worthless. It costs more to replace the battery than to buy another used Tesla. One of the largest, most expensive paper weights.
None of these statistics are hidden, they are just not brought up by the MSM.
And, they are ignored by normal people because they are technical.
Imagine selling the "tree hugger" group on paying extra to destroy the planet.
We don't know where we are
Technically speaking, we are one accident away from the electrical grid going dark forever.
This is not a one in a million chance, this is a surety, and we are just waiting for when.
No electrical company wants to pay billions for spare parts that the entire grid relies on. That is just not a smart financial move… until a good portion of The US is offline. (Europe is slightly different because the nations are not as inter-tied, but they have their own issues)
If Taiwan gets bombed, we might never have advanced computers again. The knowledge of building advanced chips is very localized, and very secretive. We could lose it overnight because Xi can't stand that they exist, that they are not a part of China.
There are many other industries that are similar. We are relying on a few people, in one country, to continue our existence.
This information is easily knowable. We just choose to ignore it because a corporation keeping their industry secrets is more important than the world surviving.
Something far easier to understand is our infrastructure failing. The govern-cements are completely ignoring maintenance of many key pieces of infrastructure. Almost as if T.H.E.Y. are planning to destroy certain countries.
The Mississippi is changing. We are getting more rainfall that is causing flooding down river. And, soon, it will be washing out bridges. Bridges that are essential for moving food to cities. We could wake up one day, after a storm and find that most of the bridges across the Mississippi are washed away. This is coming, and we are doing nothing about it.
And the reason is that most people are technically savvy, and don't recognize the HUGE crisis coming. While the politicians aren't saying anything. They keep it hushed, because that project would take all their free money away.
Our world is falling apart, and being taken apart. And most do not recognize the implications. Most just think things will go on the way they have.
And the biggest problem in this is that most people are not technically literate. And, we live in a world where we mock the repair people. Plumbers are not sexy.
And the politicians do not like to do maintenance. That is money spent on "nothing" according to them. You spend money on fixing something that nobody sees, and nobody would know if it was breaking down. To a politician, this is just throwing money down a hole.
So, the world is falling apart, and the only thing that can save us if for some inventions to come out and save us.
If someone invents a free energy device, or someone champions local power production, then our electrical grid, and its impending doom, can just be ignored.
If someone invents flying cars, all of our disintegrating roads, and bridges falling apart, can just be ignored too.
But, if these inventions do not show up (and our current world is VERY against such inventions.) then we have a very shitty future ahead. And we do not have the technically knowledgeable people to fix it.
