Lately, I've been scouring the plot market, and there are some great investment opportunities. If it weren't for the fact that I want to start building my deck for the new Modern format setup when Rebellion is released, I would have already invested a good amount in several common and rare quarries. There are even magic plots, and although they're common, they're very cheap! In short, it's a good time to fish for deals, but for now, I have other immediate plans that I'll explain throughout this post. One of the things I check before harvesting my plots is the market price of resources, and we're seeing a very interesting trend: the price of Dec is falling while the price of resources like stone and iron is rising. This presents a good opportunity if you want to acquire a significant amount of Dec and have enough stone or iron. For now, I'll continue accumulating.

Últimamente he estado peinando el mercado de parcelas y vaya que hay muy buenas oportunidades de inversión, sino fuera porque quiero ir construyendo mi mazo para lo que será la nueva configuración del formato moderno cuando salga Rebellion, ya habría invertido una buena cantidad en varias canteras comunes y raras, incluso hay parcelas mágicas y aunque son comunes están muy baratas! En resumen es un buen momento para pescar ofertas pero por ahora tengo otros planes inmediatos que a lo largo de este post iré explicando. Una de las cosas que reviso antes de recoger la producción de mis parcelas es ver el precio de los recursos en el mercado, y estamos observando una tendencia muy interesante, la caída del precio del Dec y aumento del precio de recursos como piedra y hierro, aquí hay una buena oportunidad si quieres hacerte con una buena cantidad de Dec y tienes suficiente piedra o hierro. yo por ahora seguiré acumulando.

In my previous report, I shared the progress of the building I'm constructing on my new grain-producing plot. At that time, it was close to 50%, and today we're approaching 75% completion of our grain farm. During this time, I've been monitoring worker prices on the market and projecting my budget to buy them and acquire another grain plot, giving me three. Then I can finally start mining quarries to increase my stone production.

A great opportunity that Splinterlands just announced is a bundle for the Voltage event, a collaboration between Splinterlands and the Electroneum blockchain project. This combo offers us an exclusive bi-elemental legendary card that can also be used on land, generating ETN voltage points that we can exchange for reward chests! The combo includes 1 plot, 1 spellbook, and the legendary card. I think it's a truly unique opportunity because it would give me my 5th plot towards the Warden achievement and add 5% winnings. In another post, I'll write more extensively about the advantages of this collaboration. For now, I want to share with you the production of my plots, starting with our grain farm, which is the only one feeding our workers in the two quarries we have active.

Of the two, the rare plot is the one that still has a long way to go to improve its production, but given that this phase of the game is meant to be built in the long term, I prefer to get cheap plots and later fill them with good workers, since there will always be good card deals, whereas good deals on plots take a long time to appear, so when you see a good deal don't miss that opportunity.

De las 2 la parcela rara es la que todavía le queda mucho para mejorar su producción, pero en vista de que esta fase del del juego es para construirse a largo plazo, prefiero hacerme con parcelas baratas y posteriormente armarlas con buenos trabajadores, ya que siempre habrán buenas ofertas de cartas, en cambio las buenas ofertas en parcelas tardan mucho en aparecer, así que cuando veas una buena oferta no pierdas esa oportunidad.

In short, we've accumulated almost 575,000 stone, which, if we converted it to Decs, would be about $21 at the current Dec price. If we add a couple of extra quarries, and one of them is epic, with the right workers we could double our current production. For now, I'm interested in first getting one of the Electrofox combos and adding that extra plot, then using the legendary card as a battery to activate the plot and start building the structure.

En resumen acumulamos casi 575K de piedra que si los cambiáramos a Decs serían unos 575K, el equivalente a 21$ al precio actual del Dec. Si sumamos un par de canteras extra y una de ellas fuera épica, con los trabajadores adecuados podríamos duplicar nuestra producción actual. Por ahora me interesa primero hacerme con uno de los combos Electrofox y sumar esa parcela extra y usar la carta legendaria como batería para activar la parcela y comenzar la construcción el edificio.

I wanted to close this report with the latest update to the game in the Frontier format: the addition of a prize wheel that we can spin for prizes at 0 UTC each time zone. Remember that the last thing added to Frontier was the "jackpot" cards, which could only be obtained when claiming your rewards after 5 wins. However, the last time I got a jackpot was the last week of April, and it's practically been a whole month since I've gotten one, so I don't know if they're still being given out.

I'm thrilled with this new addition. First, because if you're consistent and spin daily, you accumulate streaks that translate into better rewards, which is an incentive to stay enthusiastic about the game. Second, the prizes aren't just Sparks, the token you receive and which is linked to your account, but also card skins and avatar accessories. I believe these are just the rewards for being in the first few days; I suppose as we get a higher streak, these rewards will be better and more exclusive.

Esta nueva adición me ha encantado, primero porque si eres constante y haces tus giros diariamente acumulas rachas que traduciran en mejores recompensas por lo que es un incentivo para mantener el entusiasmo por el juego, y segundo que los premios no solamente son en Sparks que es el token que recibes y esta enlazado a tu cuenta, sino también skins para cartas y accesorios para el avatar. Estos creo, que son apenas los premios por estar en los primeros días supongo que a medida que tengamos una racha más alta, mejores y más exclusivas serán estas recompensas.

While this roulette isn't all about rewards, there are challenges too! And that's what I got on my first spin: facing the Pit, which is essentially a battle against an area boss where you have the advantage of choosing the difficulty. Initially, I thought I could use cards from the Modern format to face it, so I chose Normal difficulty. But then I realized I could only use Foundations cards, which added a certain challenge. I decided to face this boss with magic units and leave a high-defense melee unit as the tank.

Aunque no todo son recompensas en esta ruleta, también hay desafíos! These types of bosses aren't unusual; we've faced similar enemies in the campaign mode. They're really fun, and this particular battle was quite tough. I practically won by just one miss. The reward was 500 Sparks, for a total of 700 on the first day of this event. I didn't dare face the highest difficulty boss because I suspect I'll need jackpot cards that I don't have yet, apart from Aimee Whisperwind.

Este tipos de jefes no son algo raro, ya enemigos así los habíamos enfrentado en el modo campaña, son realmente divertidos y esta batalla en particular fue bastante sufrida y prácticamente esta batalla la gané por 1 miss. La recompensa fueron 500 Sparks para un total de 700 el 1er día de este evento, no me animé a enfrentar al Boss de máxima dificultad ya que sospecho que voy a necesitar cartas jackpot que todavía no tengo más allá de Aimee Whisperwind.

As I mentioned before, whether you earned it through a spin or a Pit challenge, you'll receive the non-transferable Spark token. With this token, you can go to the Circa Royale special shop and exchange it for avatar accessories/cosmetics or themed skins for Foundation cards. For now, those are the rewards; more will be released later. Personally, I'll be actively accumulating this token and chaining spins on the roulette wheel until something truly worthwhile appears.

Como mencioné antes, ya sea que te lo hayas ganado en un giro o en un desafío en el Pit, obtendrás el token intransferible Spark con l que podremos ir a la tienda especial Circa Royale donde podremos cambiarlos por accesorios/cosméticos para el avatar o skins temáticas para las cartas foundations. Por ahora esas son las recompensas, más adelante saldrán más, por lo que yo en lo particular estaré acumulando activamente este token y encadenando giros en la ruleta hasta que aparezca algo que realmente valga la pena comprar.

So far, we've had four spins of the wheel in a row. On the second and third days, we got a skin for a fire card and an avatar accessory, and finally, 100 Sparks. We'll see if we get more rewards and challenges this coming week. For now, I'm just focused on accumulating as many Sparks as I can. I have a feeling that this Circa Royale shop is going to bring us some very good surprises later on.
