Hey there again people on Praetoria and HIVE! Another guild brawl was concluded for this season and of course we are waiting for the next! Guild Brawls become part of my routine in splinterlands regularly. Although I am on the lower tier side of the players, it is not a hindrance to enjoy the Brawl and compete to it. Add that you are gaining rewards in submitting your team on your fray, you are not just having fun, you are gaining something back.
For this round of guild Brawl, I ended up loosing 1, well I lost because I was restricted using a Quora then my enemy is allowed to use it. That's hard to beat in my opinion. But still, I got a good result for this round of the brawl compared to the previous on and i believed that I donated a good result for our guild.
I bet our over all guild performance is not that good for this round. We ended ranked 4 for this circle of Guild Brawl not that much away from the 3rd placer. Still, thanks to that we still got a descent amount of SPS and Merits to boost my account even just a little bit but consistently building up.
Got enough merit points to buy 3 gladius cases to add to my gladius card collections. One of the perks and playing guild brawls fellas. You really should find your guild and be a good brawler on it. Well, you really should be a good part of the guild before you got kicked though. Being a good part of the guild should be at least a good contributor and following the rules etc. so you are not going to be considered a filler.
Here is my result on my 3 Gladius Cases minting. Not that much but still a good part to add to my collection of Gladius cards. Collection Points are necessary to perform other tasks in splinterlands like joining tournaments so it should not be neglected in collecting this points. Renting too much might become not a good source of pleasure if you suffering doing it right? So as much as possible, Collect what you need and grab the freebies if you are playing splinterlands and building your card team for your daily grind.
A Sample Guild Brawl Battle
In this sample battle I am featuring Chimney Wallstop of Gladius cards. I got a Gold Foil version of this card that started to level 3 since it is common on rarity. I am not a fan of fire splinters but that doesn't mean that this cards are not that worthy of your collection. I am building things in splinterlands with I am able to and strengthen those collection bit by bit on what can I afford. So that is the reason that my fire splinter collection is a bit low. Not just my fire, even other elements are low fire powered collection. lol. Well, This battle is frontier fray of Guild Brawl that it only allowed fire splinters. We still Don't have Dragon splinters on frontier so we are not seeing any splinters on that element. Built my team with Barthalams as the Archon. Franksguard on tank followed by Chimney Wallstop that got reach ability and a good stat for tank if you will ask me. It is pretty offensive melee card too with its 5 damage at level 3. If the berserk ability is triggered, you can see how painful this tanky card attacks. New Beleruc Aegis as a damage collector because of its Taunt ability was placed 3rd on my team. Vengeful Monk, Ala'n Musketeer and Grand Consul Minion serves as my other offense part of my team. My opponent also got Chimney Wallstop on its team so lets find out what happened.
Round 2 is where Chimney Walsstop's berkerk ability first triggered. By taking the last hit to the enemy's HP, this is where the ability is triggered. And this is continuously added as it meet its requirements for triggering. So as it was triggered, Chimney Wallstop gain boosts to its stats. It become more deadly and sturdy at the same time.
Round 3 is where another Berserk ability's upgrade. Another level for the stats of Chimney Wallstop. This also where my team already dominated the opposing ones.
- Berserk ability is really a good attribute of card to possess in splinterlands. It is not just limited to gladius card series, there are on other card series and reward series that you can find this ability. It really is a good one!
