Greetings again fellow HIVEees and SplinterFam!
Another Guld Brawls was concluded for this season and here I am again sharing my battle experience.
For this round of Guild Brawl, I ended on not so good performance in my opinion that get 5W 3L battle standing. With two weeks staying at number 1 now our guild ended in rank Number 5. A lot of rank drop down. There are really ups and downs in here and in real life so better to stick to the positive side.
I still think that our guild members still did their part but we can say that we came short with this round of the brawl. Matching and Luck is not in our favor for this time that it resulted in our fall from the top spot from the previous weeks of ranking.
I am able to save enough merit points to buy 2 gladius cases and try my luck owning gladius cards. Hopefully I will have a great Harvest.
I minted the Epic card for the Death splinter Trapp Falloway that I beleive a good tank for low mana capacity battles. How I wish it was a gold foil which is what i desired to collect nowadays. Well better luck next time. But that's not that much bad because I got a gold foil Whistling Demon that belonged to the Death Splinters. A good range attacker.
It is still a good harvest to be honest for what i spend mostly is my time and I gane something back from it playing splinterlands. You should really not want to miss this if I where you.
Battle Sample
I am featuring a small mana capacity battle from guild brawl on this blog. Since I am in the fray 1 of Guild brawl battles, I am playing it with Frontier cards mainly with the addition of Gladius cards on the fray. I am fighting this battle with the use of Life Splinters on my team and it is restricted with Rise of the Commons and Now you See Me in the rulesets. It is also capped at 16 Mana and the absence of Fire and Death splinters on the rulesets. Why I chose Life Splinters? Simply because, although I am a bit bias to the water splinters when playing frontier rank, rise of the common restricted the strong cards of the other splinters. Well if you have lots of collection of gladius cases, you can neglect what I am saying. The main point is, When playing splinterlands, another point to understand are the mana capacity of your monsters units and archons. It is necessary because its hard to have a good card that can be a favorable one to your battle but unfortunately, it is restricted because of its mana capacity.
So why life splinters wit this round? I used it because I can summon Codex Sage tha t is perfectly fit as my tank from the Life summoner that grants additional boosts to the armor which perfectly comply Void Armor of the tank that i summoned. And captain Katie is another card that is a good choice from the common cards.
Round 2 of the game where I am a bit on the loosing end of the battle. But Codex Sage is already done a great job absorbing the damages up to this round which give my captain Katie to take the shot to end my opponents tank then trigger the bloodlust ability.
The ability of bloodlust being triggered for Captain Katie help it one shot the opponents last card to its demised. With that, this ended the battle.
- Rewards system of splinterlands should be considered as a chance for you to gain something from why you are playing the game. You should not expect bigger prizes for if you invest something that you are expecting a jackpot, that is just plainly gambling.
