【大不列顛的古城 約克 三 聖誕市集】
只要在大街下車 沿著石板路跟隨路牌的方向
在這小城 總會繞到聖誕市集的位置 Shambles Market
一個一個不同深淺顏色的木造攤位 一排排並列
有賣果醬的 巧克力 麵包 肥皂 木雕刻
有一家人的 小朋友大叫奔跑
一雙一對的情侶在冰冷的天氣下依偎著對方

Just get off in the street along the stone road to follow the signs in the direction
Shambles Market is the place around this town where the Christmas bazaar goes
One by one different shades of color wooden booths side by side
There is a chocolate bar with jam marzipan wood carving
A family friend shouts
A pair of couples cling to each other in cold weather
天氣很冷 走進一間玩角子老虎機的
本來只想坐一會兒 溫暖一下就再出去逛逛
隨意投了硬幣碰碰運氣 竟給我贏了三十磅
步出遊戲中心 看到近馬路處霧出濃濃的白煙
再走接點就聞到燒烤的香味
我拿著贏來的硬幣在這熱狗的攤位排隊
寫在黑板上的餐單中有三款香腸的選擇
然後是放在上面的醬料 有炸洋蔥 酸奶油 還有越橘果醬
點了之後 看著他們幾個人在忙著跟客人打招呼
然後問道 哪一些的醬料想要多一點
他們的忙碌都是從容的 開心的 享受的
反而急著要回答 怕會介意耽誤時間的人 是我
被生活勞改成覺得 工作是只有痛苦 是出賣人生
再一次喚醒我走出到其他地方生活的念頭

一口接一口 讓肚子在冷冷的天氣得到溫飽的滿足
加上贏了錢的幸運 特別高興 我一口氣吃了兩個不同口味的熱狗

通常英國人會自己在家煮這種酒
紅酒裏頭有放香料 肉桂還有一些不同配方
在這裡冷得耳朵都要和身體分離
這個時候 如果有一杯喝下去會熱熱的酒真的很棒
有點類似我們薑母茶的效果這樣
