The fight for the seat of leadership is not easy. Leadership is a very crucial thing. To be a leader you have to fight to get there. When you're there, you have to fight to maintain the position and make those who took you there happy.
The concept of Godfathers is a very bad idea. Any leader who gets to leadership position with the help of a Godfather is a coward. The disadvantage of having a Godfather who with his power enthroned a leader is the lack of full power to make decisions without influence from the Godfather. This is one of the bad sides of leadership in my country.
