I think it's been a while since I've participated in this community or any of the contests, so it's time to get started, hehe 😄.
Creo que yo tenía algo de tiempo sin participar en esta comunidad, en alguno de los concursos, así que ya es hora de iniciar, jeje 😄
1️⃣ Which public figure, mentor, or person in your life has inspired your choice of career, course of study, or business path the most? What achievement, quality, or moment from their journey reminds you of all that is possible — and what lessons from their story are you applying to your own life today?
¿Qué figura pública, mentor, o persona en su vida ha inspirado más su elección de carrera, curso de estudio o trayectoria empresarial? ¿Qué logro, cualidad o momento de su viaje te recuerda todo lo que es posible y qué lecciones de su historia estás aplicando a tu propia vida hoy?
I studied Public Relations at university, although I only made it through the third semester and never graduated because my pregnancy made attending classes very difficult (I had a lot of physical discomfort). Later, it was very hard for me to resume my studies, so I became a housewife, mother, and wife. While many might find it a monotonous and boring life, at home we always find ways to break the monotony. It's an important job that very few people take into account, much less value. My role model in this regard is my own mother, a selfless woman who always fought for the well-being of the family, always attentive, always ready to help. I learned many things from her, for example, that if you have money, it's not yours but belongs to whoever needs it most. So, if I see someone in need, and I have the opportunity to help, I do it unconditionally.
Yo estudié Relaciones Públicas en la universidad aunque realmente solo llegué al tercer semestre y nunca me gradué porque mi embarazo me complicó mucho la asistencia a la universidad (tenía muchos malestares físicos) y más adelante se me hizo muy difícil retomar mis estudios, entonces me convertí en ama de casa, madre y esposa y a pesar de que a muchos podría parecerle una vida monótona y aburrida, en casa siempre buscamos la manera de salir de la monotonía, además es una labor importante que muy pocos toman en cuenta y mucho menos valoran. Mi referente en este sentido es mi propia madre, una mujer abnegada que siempre luchó por el bienestar de la familia, siempre atenta, siempre a la orden, de ella aprendí muchas cosas, por ejemplo que si tienes dinero, no es tuyo sino de quién lo necesita más, así que si veo que alguien tiene alguna carencia, y yo tengo la posibilidad de ayudar, lo hago sin condiciones
2️⃣ What popular worldview, quote, or social belief do you think has negatively influenced our society today? How do you protect younger people around you from adopting that mindset, and how do you personally resist the pressure to conform to it?
¿Qué cosmovisión, cita o creencia social popular crees que ha influido negativamente en nuestra sociedad actual? ¿Cómo proteges a los jóvenes que te rodean para que no adopten esa mentalidad y cómo resistes personalmente la presión de adaptarte a ella?
I've always believed that technology is a great advancement for society, that thanks to it we've achieved great things and can achieve many more. Artificial intelligence, for example, has become a powerful tool. But lately, I've realized with great sadness that people use it for everything, and in this sense, it could become more of a problem than a solution. There will probably come a time when society becomes so dependent on AI that people are no longer able to do things for themselves. Again, it's not that I disagree with using it; I've used it myself and I think it's fantastic. But we must see it for what it is: a support tool, not something indispensable to our lives.
Siempre he creído que la tecnología es un gran avance para la sociedad, que gracias a ella hemos logrado grandes cosas y que podemos lograr otras tantas, la inteligencia artificial por ejemplo se ha convertido en una gran herramienta, pero últimamente me he dado cuenta con gran tristeza que la gente la utiliza para todo, y en este sentido podría llegar a convertirse en un problema más que en una solución. Probablemente llegue un momento en el que la sociedad se vuelva tan dependiente de la IA que ya no puedan ser capaces de hacer algo por si mismos, repito, no es que yo no esté de acuerdo con usarla, yo misma la he usado y me parece genial, pero debemos verla como lo que es, una herramienta de apoyo, no como algo imprescindible para nuestra vida.
