Greetings to everyone in the Lifestyle community. Today I’m here to share with you another day in my life. This time, it’s about a new day in the classroom with the drawing workshop. This week, after a pretty amazing trip to Ciudad Bolívar (which I haven’t had a chance to post about here yet), the students were assigned to draw the Angostura Bridge and, for their painting, to create a well-rounded piece where the background and the subject stand out. Like, for example, a still life. Although I wish they’d wanted something a little less rigorous.
Saludos a todos a la comunidad de Lifestyle. El día de hoy me uno por acá para compartir con ustedes un nuevo día en mi vida. En esta ocasión se trata sobre un nuevo día en el aula de clases con el taller de dibujo. Para esta semana, luego de un viaje bastante asombroso a Ciudad Bolívar (el cual no he tenido momento de publicar por acá), los chicos tenían como tarea dibujar el puente de Angostura y con respecto a la pintura hacer un trabajo bien completo donde se notara el fondo y la figura. Como por ejemplo con, una naturaleza muerta. Aunque yo quiso quisieran algo un poco menos riguroso.
Personally, I think we’re at a point where we all could use a little vacation. Although I still have several things to wrap up regarding the final classes and other matters I’ll discuss as the days go by. Above all, I’d like for them to have a final exhibition and to be able to compile a portfolio from this entire school year featuring all the work they’ve done over the past months. I think it would be quite meaningful for them to have a tool that helps them showcase the skills and techniques they’ve learned. Plus, the art fair is coming up. An event where the kids can start to understand the concept of selling artwork. That’s all for now. Thank you so much for stopping by.
Personalmente creo que estamos en un punto en el que todos deseamos un poco de vacaciones. Aunque yo tengo aún varias cosas que poner en marcha con respecto a las últimas clases y otras cosas que iré conversando conforme avancen los días. Me gustaría sobre todo que ellos pudieran tener una última exposición y poder rescatar de todo este año escolar un portafolio con todos los trabajos que ellos han realizado a lo largo de los meses. Creo que sería bastante significativo que pudieran contar con una herramienta que los ayude a mostrar sus habilidades y técnicas aprendidas. Además, también se viene la expo feria. Un evento en el que los niños pueden comenzar a entender el concepto de vender obras de arte. Sin más que decir. Muchísimas gracias por pasar por acá.
