¡Y como esta mi gente linda de la la comunidad de las agujas!
Ya estamos en el mes de Octubre y todos disfrutamos organizando nuestra fiesta de Halloween. Aunque esta fiesta no es propia de aquí de Venezuela, igual nos gusta hacer fiestas, disfrazarnos, decorar en locales y oficinas y hacer muchas bromas con motivo de la fiesta de brujas.
Cada año me gusta elaborar cosas con este motivo para decorar mis espacios, recuerdo que el año pasado hice una bruja preciosa que estuvo en mi sala por largo rato y todos los que me visitaban tenían un tema de conversación; eso a mí me hacia reír muchísimo, así que duro en la sala hasta que llegó la decoración de Diciembre.
El espanta pájaros Yoyero
Hoy les traigo algo que me parece hermoso y hasta ahora ha recibido un montón de me gusta desde que lo subí al Facebook y Ws. Se trata de un espanta pájaros con motivo de Halloween hecho con retazos de tela. En este proyecto no puedo decir que gasté dinero o que me llevó mucho tiempo en hacerlo, por el contrario fue fácil y lo mejor de todo fue que disfruté muchísimo haciéndolo.<
Paso a paso
Más que un paso a paso es una pequeña guía o introducción para que tengan una idea de cómo se hace porque lo demás lo vamos a inventar con nuestro ingenio; la decoración, si lo quieres con gorro triangular o con sombrero, más grande o más pequeño, con nariz redonda o triangular.
Lo primero que hice fue recortar todas mis piezas, realmente utilicé solo recortes que me habían quedado de otros proyectos. El diámetro de la cara mide 17 centímetros, cortamos una sola pieza en color piel, hacemos puntadas envolventes por toda la orilla y arruchamos un poco; luego rellenamos y cerramos por completo la abertura.
Con varias puntadas realizamos una hendidura para luego colocar los ojos, pero si prefieres puedes pintarlos. De igual forma sucede con la nariz y la boca.
Luego cortamos dos piezas para realizar el cuerpo, con una medida de 13 x 17 centímetros. Hacemos costura a mano o en máquina de coser por todo el contorno dejando abierta solamente la parte del cuello.
Volteamos y rellenamos, cerramos a abertura y unimos con la cabeza. Para el cuerpo no utilicé relleno costoso, simplemente tomé esos recortes de tela pequeños que me van quedando en mi taller de costura y listo.
YO-YOS
Las piernas y los brazos están hechos con yoyos, la medida que utilicé fue de un diámetro de 10 centímetros.
En total hice los brazos de 7 yoyos y las piernas de 9 yoyos cada una. Luego las fui uniendo con una lana y los junté al cuerpo.
Como les dije, lo demás queda a tu elección, yo le hice un sombrero en forma de triángulo con tela de yute, luego corte hojas de maíz para simular el cabello, manos y pies. También le coloqué un pañuelo tipo granjero y decoré con una flor de girasol muy propio del campo.
Este espanta pájaros no asusta a nadie, por el contrario ha enamorado a todas las chicas que lo ven. Creo que es un roba corazones este chiquilín. And how are you my beautiful people Needleworkmonday!
We are already in the month of October and we all enjoy organizing our Halloween party. Although this holiday is not typical here in Venezuela, we still like to have parties, dress up, decorate in stores and offices and make many jokes on the occasion of the witches' holiday.
Every year I like to elaborate things with this motif to decorate my spaces, I remember last year I made a beautiful witch that was in my living room for a long time and everyone who visited me had a topic of conversation; that made me laugh a lot, so it lasted in the living room until the December decoration arrived.
The Yoyero bird scarer
Today I bring you something that I think is beautiful and so far has received a lot of likes since I uploaded it to Facebook and Ws. This is a Halloween themed bird scarer made from scraps of fabric. In this project I can't say that I spent money or that it took me a lot of time to make it, on the contrary it was easy and best of all I really enjoyed making it.
Step by step
More than a step by step is a small guide or introduction so you have an idea of how to do it because the rest we will invent with our ingenuity; the decoration, if you want it with triangular cap or hat, bigger or smaller, with round or triangular nose.
The first thing I did was to cut out all my pieces, actually I only used cuttings I had left over from other projects. The diameter of the face measures 17 centimeters, we cut a single piece in skin color, we make wraparound stitches all around the edge and ruffle a little; then we fill and close the opening completely.
With several stitches we make a slit to place the eyes, but if you prefer you can paint them. The same goes for the nose and mouth.
Then we cut two pieces to make the body, measuring 13 x 17 centimeters. We sew by hand or sewing machine all around, leaving open only the neck part.
We flip and stuff, close the opening and join with the head. For the body I didn't use expensive stuffing, I simply took those little fabric offcuts that I have left over from my sewing workshop and that's it.
YO-YOS
The legs and arms are made with yo-yos, the measurement I used was a diameter of 10 centimeters.
In total I made the arms out of 7 yoyos and the legs out of 9 yoyos each. Then I went about joining them together with a yarn and attached them to the body.
As I said, the rest is up to you, I made a hat in the shape of a triangle with jute fabric, then cut corn husks to simulate the hair, hands and feet. I also placed a farmer type scarf and decorated with a sunflower flower very typical of the countryside.
This bird scarer doesn't scare anyone, on the contrary, it has made every girl who sees it fall in love with it. I think this little guy is a heart stealer.
