RED CHALK
Hi dear friends!
Today I want to talk about red chalk.
It resembles normal chalk and is comparable to the charcoal technique, so we can use it in a similar way.
The first way to use it is to make a bit of pression eith the sanguigne on the paper.
LA SANGUIGNA
Ciao cari amici!
Oggi voglio parlarvi della sanguigna.
La sanguigna è una specie di gessetto che si chiama così perchè ha un colore rossiccio, ed è paragonabile alla tecnica del carboncino, vale a dire che la posso utilizzare in maniera simile.
Il primo modo di utilizzarla è quello calcato.
The second way is to blur it.
Il secondo è quello di sfumarlo.
Than make the lights with a special rubber.
Poi ritirare fuori i chiari con la gomma pane.
This is the special rubber.
Ecco la gomma pane.
We can dilute it with water.
Possiamo diluirla con l'acqua.
And also use it making lines.
Ed anche usarla a tratteggio.
Another option is to hold it in a inclined way.
Un' altra opzione è quella di tenere la sanguigna inclinata.
And the last one is the frottage, which is when paper is over something in relief.
E in ultimo il frottage, che si ottiene sovrapponendo la carta a qualcosa in rilievo.
It' s important to know that the effect changes depending on the material you draw on, if we use a velvety paper we will get a softer effect.
È importante sapere che l'effetto cambia secondo il supporto, se utilizzo una carta vellutata otterò un effetto più morbido.
