I've been off the computer
almost all week, with family in town, complications beyond counting, #confusement and chaos.
Sister "Bucket List" Lori
decided to spend a day with me and attend my daughter's Baccalaureate ceremony Saturday morning. Oops! Forgot to pack some of her dialysis equipment. Tubing ("cassettes), aka
A new hook-up every night
Which became a runnning gag for the weekend.
Confusement
is my favorite word, coined by an electrical engineer who meant "confusion." How perfect is that? Not as perfect as love which overcomes all confusement with lots of Kodak moments and four generations, counting the great-grandkids.
oops again,
No photo of four generations together in one image, but here's three:
Commencement, Baccaluareate, Graduation
ceremonies, any academic or Awards Ceremony, is torture for me and everyone in my family, except the latest one graduating, or baptizing a child, or stressing over details of a wedding (bridesmaid dresses: gaaah!).
Outdoor ceremonies in the hot sun, lasting TWO HOURS, for the elderly, for babies, for ANYONE, is just.... do we HAFTA put all our family and friends through the wringer...er, rituals?
