HI ALL STEEMIANS.
Well 7 months in and 219 posts and I’m still struggling to understand how steemit works!
I Hardly earn anything from my blogs and have always upvoted myself, although some people disagree with self upvoting! I do not say that this is right or wrong, you are free to do what you decide is best for you.
However I discovered today with upvote calculator https://steemnow.com/upvotecalc.html That upvoting myself actually earns me zilch,nothing! Is it because of the amount of steem power I have?
But tell me how do some steemians that have only joined weeks ago have a higher reputation than me and have good amounts of earnings, yet have not posted one blog, and have only resteemed other blogs ( how does that work? ). Should I stop blogging and just resteem as many people as I can.
I Looked on steem supply today my Current voting power: 100.00% My Current vote worth is nothing : $0.00 so can anyone tell me is it worth upvoting anyone, if my vote is worth nothing to them and me, Is it actually worth me upvoting on anyone’s blog that I like if this is the case? Am I waisting my time bothering to upvote?
I love steemit and think it certainly is the future for social media.
The fantastic thing though is that through steemit I have actually managed to buy some crypto currency which is amazing considering that you start from nothing !
Don’t get me wrong I love steemit and will carry on posting and encouraging like minded people to join in, and help push the steemit community to new heights.
