....for 6 months at least. And boy and I ever happy that we did. After a year of nearly full time travel, and 3.5 years in a row in converted school bus, it feels good to have a place to rest and call home for 6 months.
What you see pictured here is after the sunset ("Puesta del Sol") last night, a color and light show that takes place after the sun has passed behind the horizon. It literally changes the color of the air, and it's like you are walking through an Instagram filter.
Every night so far the air has turned a different color. Blue. Pink. Purple. Orange. You can see the color in the air in front of you, it must be reflecting off the moisture in the air. I have never seen anything like it. It absolutely fills my heart with JOY!!!
Apparently it gets better in November!
All of us got sick since arriving here, so that has been interesting. But it was a 24 hour bug and I think everyone has recovered.
I am slowly compiling some information about the realistic cost of living here that I would like to share with you in another post. For us, it has been a huge upgrade in standard of living, yet for me costs the same as living in my bus (or less when you factor in food prices!)
Thanks for checking in, how is life in your part of the world?
