Step into a world of a peaceful countryside landscape, this fascinating scene of coffee art composition creates a sense of warmth and sentiment. I hope you like it!
I used three painting brushes for this piece, which took me an hour. For those interested in trying this unique medium, follow the step-by-step basic methods below.
Materials Needed:
š Watercolor Paper, sketching Paper, or stretched canvas
š Pencil and Eraser
š Coffee Powder
š 2 small cups ( lighter and darker shades)
š Ruler
š Clean Water
š Rag
š Paper napkin or paper towel
Brushes:
š Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
š Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
š Filbert brush
Note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.
Basic Procedure:
ā¢ Outline or sketch your painting reference.
ā¢ Paint using a lighter background shade by creating a beautiful texture.
ā¢ On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
ā¢ The same procedure as the foreground.
ā¢ Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
ā¢ Then add details to bring your painting to life. I used a liner brush for the thin details.
Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.
