Greetings Hiver friends, How are you doing? A blessed Monday to everyone. Welcome to my art blog! After a busy day, I still have time to create my artwork for today. I painted a beautiful view of the autumn landscape created with coffee.
The stillness in the fall forest is a lovely piece of art, it is a magical sight that you will experience. As you step into the forest, the first thing that hits you is the calmness that covers the entire forest. You can find also a moment of relaxation, an opportunity to connect with nature and find peace in its tranquil beauty.
I used three types of painting brushes for this art. It took me an hour to finish this piece.
For those who want to try to paint using this unique medium, you can follow the basic methods below.
Materials Needed:
š Watercolor Paper or sketching Paper
š Pencil and Eraser
š Coffee Powder
š 2 small cups ( lighter and darker shades)
š Ruler
š Clean Water
š Rag
š Paper napkin or paper towel
Brushes:
š Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
š Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
š Filbert brush
Note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.
Basic Procedure:
ā¢ Outline or sketch of your painting reference.
ā¢ Paint using a lighter shade of the background by creating a beautiful texture.
ā¢ On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
ā¢ The same procedure with the foreground.
ā¢ Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
ā¢ Then add details to come alive of your painting. I used a liner brush for thin details.
Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.
