I had a wonderful experienced at Davao City’s People’s Park together with my friends. Actually this is my first time to be in this place. PEOPLES PARK is one of the cleanest and greenest parks in the country. It is an open plaza with beatiful landscaped greenery which is called “Philippine Rainforest”
This park known as THE OLD PTA GROUND/ PALARUANG PAMBANSA. A 4- hectare park. the old PTA ground has transformed into a beautiful and clean park adorned with tropical rainforest trees.
At the gateway the Durian Dome pattern with Davao's popular fruit which serves as a main entrance or visitors center. Interesting sculpture the huge philippine EAGLE REPLICA. This park is a perfect spot for jogging exercise for it has a rainbow-colored track. for a visual entertainment. A Dancing Fountain can also be seen in the park.
There is a children’s playground where they can play. Children will surely love and enjoy their stay at the park. There are also benches where you can sit to have a relaxing time inside the park. Pigeons are a common sight at the park, You can see them around as you enjoy a family picnic at the grounds.
The park also ensure the safety of the park-goers because CCTV cameras are installed around the park. This park is free charge, You just need to present a valid ID at the main entrance.
