Es muy probable que este review sea uno de los más osados y/o atrevidos que pueda realizar, ya que es de un libro que marcó un hito en la historia literaria, dado que muchos otros grandes escritores han realizado reseñas por la forma en como “Julio Cortázar” aborda esta historia y una de las más interesantes es donde el escritor “Mario Vargas llosa” no acepta esa teoría de que la novela Rayuela es una contra novela o novela experimental, dicho por varios otros escritores, dado que, dicho por él mismo esto no es un experimento sino una conquista de las formas. Rayuela plantea un estilo diferente de leer y construir una historia y dándonos varias opciones, que nos plantea el mismo escritor al darnos una opción lineal de lectura del capítulo 1 al 56 y otra opción que plantea una seguidilla que va desde el capítulo 73 y saltando la rayuela. Incluso se dice que hay muchas más formas de leer rayuela apartando el hecho que deliberadamente el autor obvia el capítulo 55. Realmente estamos ante un juego de estilos o un genio literario que nos brinda la oportunidad de leer de formas distintas una historia.

The novel narrates a story that maintains a tug of war between the biographical and the fantastic, entering us as protagonists of a constant anguish motivated by a perennial insomnia. This short novel narrates the last years of the consul "José Antonio Ramos Sucre" in Brussels where certain stories occur, in addition to a constant attachment to the letters he shared, relating certain experiences and events. In general terms there is a little subtle connection in the perspective that one has in how to see the plot, being a spectator or narrator or the protagonist of what is happening (this said from my point of view). In the story I will focus on three important parts: 1. How the main character is introduced? 2.The rhythm of the story 3. Were these events real or a fictional representation of what could have been? It should be noted that this is my personal opinion of a book that has a depth of form, rich in literary resources and describes very well, in nine parts, how the facts are presented.
La novela narra una historia que mantiene una riña entre lo biográfico y lo fantástico adentrándonos como protagonistas de una angustia constante motivada por un insomnio perenne. Esta novela corta, narra los últimos años del cónsul “José Antonio Ramos Sucre” en Bruselas donde ocurren ciertas historias, además de un constante apego a las cartas que compartía, relatando ciertas vivencias y acontecimientos. En términos generales hay una conexión poco sutil en la perspectiva que se tiene en como verse la trama, siendo un espectador o narrador o el protagonista de aquello que está ocurriendo (Dicho esto desde mi punto de vista). En la historia me enfocaré en tres partes importantes: 1. ¿Cómo se presenta al protagonista? 2. Ritmo de la Historia. 3. ¿Fueron reales estos hechos o una representación ficticia de lo que pudo ser? Cabe destacar que esta es mi opinión personal de un libro que posee una profundidad de formas, rica en recursos literarios y describe muy bien, en nueve partes, como se plantean los hechos.
1. How the main character is introduced?.
The protagonist is presented as "The Consul" who is a Venezuelan consul who is in Brussels on a diplomatic mission, but he is in a place where he is treating his sleep problems, where a constant insomnia overwhelms him and does not let him connect with himself, leading him to anguish due to the fact of not being able to sleep, and a series of quite interesting situations occur throughout the reading. It is subject to the reconstruction of what he exposes in his letters, where "The Consul" is telling between the lines to a great friend what is happening to him, always with the solemnity that represented the time.
El protagonista es presentado como “El cónsul” el cual es un cónsul venezolano que se encuentra en Bruselas en una misión diplomática, pero este se encuentra en un lugar donde está tratando sus problemas de sueño, donde un insomnio constante lo abruma y no lo deja conectarse consigo mismo llevándolo a la angustia por este hecho de no poder dormir, ocurriéndole una serie de situaciones bastante interesantes a lo largo de la lectura. Está sujeta a la reconstrucción de lo que expone en sus cartas, en donde “El Cónsul” va contando entre líneas a un gran amigo lo que le va ocurriendo, siempre con la solemnidad que representaba la época.
2. The rhythm of the story
The story is sober, perhaps of a slow reading that catches you because it awakens the curiosity of what will happen, what answers will the consul have or what else he will see through the window, also the questions arise, is it true what happens? Or is it just the consul's imagination? As the reading progresses, it becomes clearer and clearer. That close proximity to the biographical and the magnificent gives this novel a place of interest to any reader.
La historia es sobria, tal vez de una lectura lenta que te va atrapando debido a que va despertando la curiosidad de que ocurrirá, que respuestas tendrá el cónsul o que otra cosa logrará ver por la ventana, además te surgen las preguntas, ¿es cierto lo que ocurre? O ¿es solo imaginación del cónsul? Cosa que a medida que se va llevando a cabo la lectura se va dilucidando. Esa estrecha cercanía a lo biográfico y lo magnifico le da a esta novela un puesto de interés a cualquier lector.
3. Were these events real or a fictional representation of what could have been?
Regarding the reading or this point I would prefer to say that the interpretation of this questioning could transgress the interest of any other reader, or as colloquially said, could ruin the future reading of someone else; that is why I invite you to read this magnificent book and learn a little more about "José Antonio Ramos Sucre" from the hand of a Cumanese already naturalized and loved in that Caribbean city.
En lo que respecta a la lectura o a este punto preferiría decir que la interpretación de este cuestionamiento podría transgredir el interés de cualquier otro lector, o como coloquialmente se dice, podría arruinar la lectura futura de alguien más; es por eso que invito a leer este magnífico libro y conozcan un poco más de “José Antonio Ramos Sucre” de la mano de un Cumanés ya naturalizado y querido en esa ciudad caribeña.

He has won two literary awards: "Premio Rufino Blanco Fombona de novela breve en 2006" and "Premio de Narrativa Salvador Garmendia 2009".
“Rubí guerra” es un escritor nacido en San Tomé estado Anzoátegui, que por muchos años ha estado viviendo en la ciudad de Cumaná convirtiéndose en un amplio conocedor de la historia cumanesa y de otros muchos ilustres que han construido la historia literaria de la ciudad. Ha sido ganador de dos premios literarios: “Premio Rufino Blanco Fombona de novela breve en 2006” y “Premio de Narrativa Salvador Garmendia 2009”.
