Here in this article we will show that being in CFS or dealing with them can increase the risk of suicide.
This video talks about the 15 year old girl that commited suicide last weekend. It speaks nothing of her exploitation. It does speak of her not being able to see her family even though its what she wanted. Which usually is not enough to commit suicide.

Here is an article and a video saying that being shipped around from group home to group home seems to be a common factor in suicides. Once again it talks nothing of the abuse kids face in care. Being taken from your mother and father, brother and sister can put someone in a world of despair. Also the world they enter is one where things are often locked and always under control. Where misconduct of the child is written and reported while misconduct of those charged with protecting the children is hidden and buried. Where the youth of this city learn a desperate life that often turns to crime or prostitution. A life that is often shipped from placement to placement making the youth feel powerless through social controls by those that do not love them. Often times misconduct ends in jail time but only for the youth not those who prey upon and otherwise abuse them.
Here is another article about increased risk of suicide yet again not one word of the abuse kids in care face. And although it touches on the families aspect of things I wonder how many parents have committed suicide after having their children ripped from their lives. Those that grew up in care would be re traumatized by the experience. That could really push someone over the edge.
This city is sick. What happens to kids in care is sick. The cognitive dissonance of those charged to protect the youth in care is sick.
How much longer will you remain blind to what really happens to kids in care in this city?
How much longer will you continue to support a government kidnapping operation that fuels child prostitution and suicide?
How much longer will you remain complacent as people take their own life from the abuse they faced in care?
To those that say I don't support it, what have you done in opposition of it?
