아시는 분들은 아시겠지만 지난 22일에 GDAX에서 순간적으로 이더리움의 급격한 가격하락이 있었습니다.
이에 대해 애덤 화이트 GDAX 부사장은 블로그에서
“자체조사 결과 부정거래 등의 정황은 발견되지 않았다”며 “시스템은 정상적으로 작동하고 있으며 거래 특성상 일부 위험성이 내재될 수밖에 없다”고 해명했습니다.
이어 “급등락이 발견된 뒤 일시적으로 이더리움의 달러 거래를 중지했다”며 “시스템에 문제가 없음을 확인하고 거래가 재개됐다” 라는 언급을 했었습니다.
그러나 이때 스톱로스와 마진콜이 터지면서 많은 피해자(?)가 발생했고 이에 대해 애덤 와이트 부사장은 "회사의 기금으로" 피해자들에게 보상을 해주겠다는 언급을 했습니다.

but there were customers who had stop-loss or margin call orders.
So GDAX will establish a process to credit customer accounts which experienced a margin call or stop loss order executed.

Some people are discussing about this measure.
