Right now due to tonight's performance in the Ucl, i think one name on the lip of almost every football fan, pundits, coaches etc. Is the liverpool player MO SALAH. As a chelsea fan i first knew salah in 2013 in the europa league match against chelsea. His team then was Basel fc of switzerland. during the course of the two legs, salah caused chelsea problems. He was really great against chelsea that chelsea had to buy him in the next transfer market.
He came to chelsea at the age of 21. He was very young back then. When he came, he had limited number of matches i could still remember his debut for chelsea in the EPL against arsenal where he came off the bench to score in a 6-0 win over arsenal. Salah could not break into the chelsea first team back then because there were some players (hazard, shurrle, willian etc) ahead of him. He had to leave for italy, first on loan to fiorentina and to Roma where he was eventually sold. He had good years at rome, more playing time etc. During the summer i was among those who thought that liverpool is wasting money in buying salah. I had opted for them to buy douglas costa of then Bayern munich instead.
But right now salah is paying off, he's already won the PFA award, highest goal scorer as well.
He's proved everyone against his move to liverpool wrong, his now the man of the moment, he took the Epl in his own hands and his also lifting liverpool back to the glory days. I hope to see more of his performance at the world cup. One question i have is " is mo salah the one to break the domination of ronaldo and messi in world football?" actually we've seen the likes of zlatan, hazard, bale, neymar, lewandowski all failed to come between the dominance of Ronaldo and Messi. What do you guys think About salah?
