For we to have peace and have it in abundance, we must stop following other voices, we must do all things to please God and not to please man and that is to follow Jesus on daily basis.
You can be in a church where Christ is preached even to its fullest and still not have Christ nor even see Christ showing in us. That is because we might be going through too many problems nor challenges and didn't surrender to God nor cast our hope and faith in God to lead and up us right. If you find yourself in this situation, all you need is to find peace which is Jesus Christ. Learn to study God's world on your own and understand the word of God on your own. Read the Bible and teach yourself with the inspiration of the holy spirit.
Nowadays advice is easy to get from psychics, tarot card readers, sorcerers and many people into spiritual things, this people would only like to run people's lives. They may give information that seems to make sense, but will never produce lasting peace in persons life.
To be a disciple of Jesus means to study His Word and imitate His life and correctly analyze the word of faith 2 Timothy 2:15. We will have power to live our lives well if we devote our attention to God's word and allowing Jesus to transform us by allowing peace that He alone can give.
Peace is our inheritance from Jesus, but we have to choose to follow Him daily. Colossians 3:15 teaches us that peace is to be the umpire of our lives, settling every issues that needs a decision.
To have peace, we have to allow Christ rule our lives. And to allow Christ in us. We have to be the umpire of Christ. And as you do this God bless you.
