They say the name you bear has a role to play in your life journey and because of that, parents give only names with positive meanings to their kid(s), especially here in my country, Nigeria, parents try to give their kids names with amazing and positive meanings because they think those names would affect and influence what the child would become tomorrow.
Some parents here give their kids names like Richman because they think that by so doing, the child would automatically be a rich man when he grows up. Some call their child Wisdom hoping that the child would turn out to be like the wise king Solomon. But, I think all that is false, else how can use explain the case of the former president of America - George BUSH. If people become the names they bear, shouldn't someone like president Bush be a farmer, or shouldn't he be living in the bush ? . Or someone like the DANNY DRINKWATER, the Chelsea football team midfielder, what's he doing playing football ?, shouldn't he working in a table water factory or something ? .
In my country, nobody bears a name like; Bush or drinkwater etc. They think those kind of names would bring a bad omen. Here, we have the best names. Here you hear names like ; Patience , Joy, Freedom, Miracle , Victor, Prosper , Gentle, Lucky, Christian, Happiness, Godspower, Honesty, Favour , Confidence, Merit , Light, Humble, Smart , Innocent etc.
but guess what, here you still get to see so many who are nothing close to the names they bear.
Here , you see that a girl whose name is Patience is always in a hurry. She is like the most impatient person in the world, She never slows down nor takes her time and yet she bears the name Patience.
You see another person who goes by the name Joy but never has Joy, she is always sad and hardly smiles.
Another guy Freedom, his mum doesn't let him leave the house, he is always under house arrest and is never free to hangout or visit his friends.
Miracle has an overwhelming challenge and needs a miracle, worse still, he's an atheist.
Wisdom is foolish, he always makes stupid decision and always gets scammed
Little children always beat the hell out of Victor. They feed Victor with sand during street fight and he has never won a fight in his life.
Prosper is still struggling and is yet to breakthrough, his business is almost crumbling and prosperity is far from him.
The other guy named Wisdom is sitting for his college entrance exam a seventh time.
