Privacy is a topic that humans take very seriously since the Beginning of time, not exactly "the beginning" because in the pre-civilization age, privacy wasn't that big of a deal, in-fact it was the opposite, ideas and information were freely available for anyone seeking them, across tribes, communities and states.
for example: You could know how much the State General earns with ease, the information could even be public in the community board
.....it sounds weird even now, thinking about it, because we humans have made it so!..
According to the prompt, certainly, publishing the Salary and Earning information might give rise to crimes? but is that the only point of highlight?..
So far, even with excessive security, privacy and non-disclosure measures established across the world, crimes have remained and continue to escalate in new creative ways.
what is forbidden and hidden, humans have a natural desire to uncover, so i dont expect this to fade anytime soon. Lol..
What I do think about it are these:
Disclosing such information could lead to effects and solutions that we haven't even considered in our present Digital age
In the Social Media World, a massive turn of events and culture will be experienced
People are less prone to envy and desire the resources of others, because it has been uncovered that 80% of structures and perceptions are either fake, unreal, or figments of our imaginations.
Sometimes, truth is not only Liberating, but it has a way of bringing unprecedented transformation to Social Norms..
And So we Ask_ What if, disclosure, instead of envy, leads to desire, motivation in others, on how to "get ahead" in their own lives.
_What if, it ignites Imitation rather than stark Jealousy, or say Theft?..
Sometimes doing the same thing over and over again, will not change the results and maybe a bold new direction is required.
but i guess, a huge percent of the world today will never heed this plan... XD
