I live in the northern part of India but love to cook and eat south Indian food also which is completely different in taste from our food.
Recently I prepared a south Indian recipe called sambhar which is used to eat with Idli, Vada, Dosa, Steamed Rice etc. This is a type of lentil soup but distinct in taste and flavor as various vegetables and spices used to make this recipe. Sambar powder is an essential part of this dish which makes it delicious and this sambar powder is a mixture of various spices.
