“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2
The holy bible already taught us that we should learn how to help people within our environment. God encourages us to give to those who are suffering and needs the help of others. We should always give when we have enough. Christians are reminded that whatever blessings they have are gifts from God, and they should use them to support and uplift others. Helping people financially is seen as an act of love and obedience to God, especially when done willingly and with a sincere heart.
At the same time, the Bible also teaches responsibility and wisdom. People are encouraged to work diligently and not depend lazily on others when they are capable of providing for themselves. Financial responsibility toward others should be balanced with wisdom, compassion, and fairness. God honors cheerful giving and caring for family members and those in need within the community of faith.
“Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done.” Proverbs 19:17
