Children are precious being in the side of God. God understands the pain behind death of children and God cares for the grieving family of the child. In the Bible, Jesus showed great love toward children and said that the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as them. This gives believers hope that God’s mercy and love extend to children who pass away.
Death is inevitable because it entered this world because of sin. However, God does not ignore our tears. In moments of grief, He comforts those who mourn and promises to be near to the brokenhearted. Parents who lose children are encouraged to trust God even when they do not fully understand why such tragedies happen.
