Prayer is a means which we communicate with God and when praying it should be done with full attention because we are speaking to our creator. The Bible teaches that prayer is not about using many words or trying to impress others, but about speaking honestly from the heart. Jesus taught His followers to pray privately and trust that God listens to every sincere prayer. True prayer helps us grow closer to God and depend on Him in every situation.
Another proper way is to ask for forgiveness and thank God for what he have done for us. We should pray with forgiveness in our hearts and believe that God is able to answer in His own perfect time. The Bible encourages believers to pray continually and remain faithful even when answers do not come immediately. Through prayer, we receive peace, strength, and guidance from God.
“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24
