First, I'd like to say, Steem is not all about money. It's all about life and how to change and transform the world with out ideas and experiences via steemit.
Its a great privilege being a part of the group both on whatsapp and on Discord. I've met amazing and interesting people. There's never a dull moment on the Discord server and last night's show for me exceptional. From time to time wonderful people are brought on the weekly shows but last night was phenomenal. I call him a progenitor of steemit innovative and transformative revolution...in the person of
himself. I think since I've been participating in three naijapidgin shows, this was the longest show ever. The guys couldn't get enough of him. Till about 1am it was still on. Wow. I wasn't too surprised though. Listening to him speak was like listening to an ethereal being speak in a language higher than ours but which by virtue of association we were supposed to understand. Hence one had to listen with rapt attention. It was obvious that he had so much to say, so much to give, so much to offer, so much to impart, but looking for the best means of message transmission and having little time. After the talk he created a fun time by giving us riddles, and allowing us to share jokes and riddles. I'm not a very popular person on the group and still learning the ropes on steemit so all I decided to do was listen. He spoke softly but made unique points.
He always talked about the power of a steemit post. How a single post can revolutionalise an individual, a community and the world. I remember him telling us to take steemit the way we take life and that if we poured our fears and dreams into our post we would get what he called undiluted feedback. We could capture the mind of our audience (which is made up of different categories if people) by relating our unique experience in our own unique world to them which it is unlikely that they know about. He talks about so many things like the power of an upvote...not in its monetary value but in its meaning and the message it conveys. An upvote conveys the assertion, concurrence and convergence of mind towards what you are talking about...in part or in whole. I learnt how to embrace my fears and let them spur me instead of pushing me aback. This was exactly what I had in mind weeks ago when I wanted to talk about some my experiences in a story and I wanted it appeal to our naijapidgin concept..

...but after writing just two episodes and not generating any strong encouragement from within or without, I stopped. But after listening to last night, decided to resume writing my story.
Thank you Terry for this. God bless you, God bless and other wonderful admins and members of the
family. Terry, I hope to hear your motivational voice soon again.
