La Madre Seda no es un enemigo cualquiera, ya que representa una especie de guardiana del destino de Hornet. Su diseño es imponente, sus ataques son agresivos y el ritmo del combate obliga al jugador a moverse constantemente, esquivando ataques de seda, saltos rápidos y golpes que pueden acabar con la vida en pocos segundos.
Lo más interesante de esta batalla ocurre cuando el jugador tiene la maldición del cogollo retorcido. Este elemento cambia completamente el desarrollo del final, ya que altera la forma en que Hornet interactúa con la Madre Seda y con el entorno.
