A few steps from Bari central station, in the central Via Sparano, I discovered a pleasant bar where I could spend some time relaxing, an ideal place for my breakfast. Lillà is a modern, inviting bar characterized by the presence of enormous soft toys that embellish the environment and transform it into a place abstract from the frenetic daily life of large metropolises.
Lillà is a pleasant place to be, if you need to work in front of a good cup of coffee or a slice of cake there is free wifi and power sockets, tables available both inside than outside. Hey, you can stay here as long as you want, no one's stopping you!
My wife and I arrived late in the morning, the croissants are too delicious and we couldn't resist the temptation. A peculiarity that belongs to this bar is the personalized filling, an employee fills the croissants with four types of creams: classic, dark, chocolate and pistachio. The croissants are definitely well filled, after the first bite, the teeth sink first into the soft pastry and let the cream come out, still warm and tasty.
Nothing better to accompany the croissant than a good coffee, robust and intense, I drink it bitter, so it is important for me that it is really good, with no burnt hint. Added sugar, in fact, masks the imperfections of a less than optimal coffee, for this reason I like to drink it often and love it. On the other hand, the sugar contained in the croissant is enough for at least ten coffees!
Lilac is an ideal place for those who love sweets, as well as being good and beautiful, there is even a great attraction on the ceiling: the lights are in fact shaped like donuts! It seems like a hallucination but the decorations are really spot on! Here there are children, adults, tourists, business men and women, simple passers-by like us. There is a plurality of customers, all united by a single desire: relaxation and a good croissant!
The cost of breakfast (2 cream croissants and 2 coffees) was 6 euros, a decidedly modest price and money really well spent.
