Sometimes I must remind myself of things,
We're all drops in an ocean of beings.
Sometimes it takes whole days to remember,
That fires inside can grow from embers.
Sometimes this life feels really confusing,
Humbled again by more ego bruising.
Sometimes I forget and start judging me,
Then I surrender and set myself free.
Sometimes losing track of what it's all for,
Recall where I started, humbles me more.
Sometimes this doubt eats away at my heart,
But I refuse to go back to the start.
Sometimes I feel stuck and lost on the path,
But time isn't real and I do the math.
Sometimes frustrated by lack of progress,
It's not always about me, I digress.
Sometimes I feel like I'm walking alone,
Then I remember I'm on the way home.
