Tuna Salad is a classic. I like pasta so it's great together for me!
This one is a gluten free pasta but you can use your regular
pasta you love.
Not only is it healthy from all the protein in the tuna and
vitamins in the vegetables but
it is also pretty cheap to make it!
I love summertime and the salads you can make with all
the fresh, local produce.
This Lovely Tuna pasta salad is a great one to start with!
Ingredients:
2 cans cold white tuna
1/4 cup Kraft Real Mayo
Salt & pepper to taste
Few Shakes of garlic powder, Soul seasoning,
Sprinkle of old bay seasoning
Fresh Basil 2 bunches leaves- chopped
2 Sprigs Fresh Rosemary- Minced
6 oz. Your favorite pasta Mine was gluten free elbow
3 sprigs green Onion Choppped
1/4 c. Chopped fine Onion
1 c. Fresh spinach
Small tomato chopped
Chopped black olives 1/4 cup
Choose the best fragrant Basil or get some From your local farmers market or your own like mine!
My Small pot of basil is right outside my kitchen door!
It's really incredible and saves money to grow your own herbs!
I only have a few small herbs outside in pots, but love them!
The Rosemary needs to be minced and the basil chopped like this....
Choose very fragrant and fresh basil and fresh rosemary herbs.
Chilling up everything to get ready to stir this pasta Salad A bit then chill in refrigerator.
Rinse the pasta in cold water To cool down
Mixing it well all together but not too much
should look Like this...
Let it chill in the refrigerator and you now have a great,
healthy salad to eat!
