Spaceman's Vertigo -- Making "cerebral rock" music in South Africa

It's easy to feel isolated these days. The world is becoming increasingly complicated, and as human beings we are becoming more defined by our borders than we have in a long time. It's almost impossible to have an identity in the world today.

We are the Club of Suns, a group of young musicians from South Africa. We welcome all children born under the sun, with all of our differences. Leave your preconceptions at the door, and open your mind to the global community we can all share.

When we asked our producer, Rob Luce (Hive account@songsmiths), how he would categorise our music. He said two words: "cerebral rock". Our interpretation is that we make music from within. We don't want the burden of external pressure to drive our creative process, we just want to express ourselves. That's why we believe that Steemit could be a great place to share our music. With so many different people making use of its services, we hope we can find a base camp here.

So as our first contribution, we present to you: Spaceman's Vertigo. It's a song about feeling alone, and taking the leap beyond the isolation towards building something beautiful. We hope you enjoy!
