Hi fellow Walkers,
Today I'm back with more waterfalls! I don't know if it's annoying for y'all but I love waterfalls and seem to find them often lately lol
Waterfall Walk
The little man and I decided that we would go out one day and try our hand at doing some early season fishing for trout! I haven't been trout fishing in many years so I figured let's give it a try. I normally think of trout fishing as one that's in a river or something so that's where we decided to try out. It turned out to be a really beautiful place to visit!
The fishing trip didn't pan out. We didn't catch anything but that's okay. We got to spend a couple hours outside together and in a gorgeous environment such as this! The waterfall was incredibly fast and heavy moving at this time of year with all of the snow melting.
Some of the fishermen that were there, all fly fishermen (I guess I missed the memo to fly fish lol) had said it was some of the highest levels they've seen on the river and that it was moving unbelievably fast. Those both are recipes for the fish not wanting to bite sadly.
What we did manage to do though is get a few cool snaps of the scenery! The place had some really awesome walls, rock formations and interesting ways that the river flowed around the rocks.
We had to be pretty careful though! The water was super high, incredibly deep in some spots and holy crap was it cold lol.
The whole area made for some beautiful scenery to spend the day in though. We definitely were in awe of the sound of the rushing water, at times depending on where we were standing it was too loud to hear each other lol. We are certainly going to go back in a couple weeks to see if we can grab any of the trout!
