Hydroponics is one of the most up and come methods of growing plants due to its space saving and endless innovative design possibilities.
Hydroponics is slowly becoming a modern day growing method with farms popping up everywhere, and even in some more obscure places such as the growing underground farm which have converted old air raid shelters into little farms. In doing so, they needed to provide the plants with light in order for the plants to create glucose. They did this, by using led technology to provide light. However, plants need minerals and many companies use the chemicals themselves but this isn't sustainable. So a lot are turning to aquaponics, which uses fish as the source for the minerals needed. This will help keep CO2 levels down, as agriculture is the 3rd highest CO2 contributor.
Hydroponics (as said before) can dramatically save space, meaning as the population and demand increases, hydroponics will grow as space for farming dwindles. Not only does it save space, but it also will save water in comparison to traditional agricultural methods. In a world where space is getting smaller and smaller, and demand is getting greater. Hydroponics has the solution to a lot of the problems.
