Anyways, I was thinking about E-ZPass and how it's owned by a private company called E-ZPass Group and also wondering about just how transparent and efficient this EZ-Pass service really is.
Yes, it's convenient to not have to wait in line to pay with fiat, but wouldn't it be even better if we could pay with a crypto like STEEM?
The dreaming part was in thinking about how this service might be transformed and de-centralized and run atop the STEEM blockchain. I would imagine it might result in better transparency and auditing (i.e. less "skimming" of funds) and also likely result in better quality of service.
The fast speed of the STEEM blockchain seems like it could support the high transactions-per-second requirement.
