eToro announced that it has acquired smart contracts development company Firmo for an undisclosed amount.
Co-founder and CEO of eToro Yoni Assia is quoted that the acquisition will allow the platform to grow its offering of tokenized assets.
Firmo’s platform enables exchanges to execute smart financial contracts across various assets, including crypto derivatives, across all major blockchains.
🏢 Rakuten Readies Cryptocurrency Exchange for April Launch
Japanese e-commerce giant Rakuten has completed registration of its cryptocurrency exchange, which will go live in April.
The company had acquired Cryptocurrency Exchange "Everybody's Bitcoin" in August last year and recently renamed to Rakuten Wallet.
