Well, wail, whale, it's Friday!

It's the weekend y'all, time to have fun! This guy in the photo seemed to be having a good time but I have to wonder about his choice of places to paint. The photo above is from the last Friday in May here earlier this year, about an hour after this shot was taken the park he's in was full of tear gas. Anybody got any fun plans for the weekend? Or is everybody going back under lockdown and stuck at home twiddling their thumbs and staring at Netflix?

I'd like to tell you that I'm going to be chilling by the lake this weekend, enjoying the weather but I'm afraid that will not be the case. I've got some priming and painting in my future so if I post something that makes less sense than usual then I'm probably just high on paint fumes. Anyone got any suggestions for how to keep a couple of cats from 'helping' us paint?

I like to listen to music when I'm working on stuff and all this talk of painting has reminded me of one of my favorite Rolling Stones songs, so here's Paint It Black for y'alls listening pleasure...

I've always wanted to paint a bedroom black but have yet to be able to convince anyone to let me...this weekend will be no exception :( Anybody got any weird bedroom paint scheme stories?

However you wind up enjoying your weekend, try not to get these folks to show up. They're usually none too friendly and have a habit of crashing parties and I don't have bail money for you. Is cash bond/bail still a thing where you live? We don't have bail bondsmen here in Kentucky so if you can't afford a lawyer you get to sit in jail for a while. Buddy of mine got jumped by a couple of guys coming out of a bar and wound up stabbing one of them, he got to sit in jail for six months before it went to trial and the jury found him not guilty on grounds of self defense. Anyways, that's enough out of me, I've got someone waiting on me so I'm going to go get this weekend started right! Y'all have a good one!
