Hi Guys! 👋
🌟Have you ever wonder what Morocco 🇲🇦 looks like? You probably saw or heard of Morocco, but I'm sure if you did not have a chance yet to visit it, you would be thrilled to discover more about it.
Morocco, the name derived from Marrakesh the old capital city, was known in the pre-Islamic era as Mauretania Tingitana. Morocco in Arabic is called Al-Maghrib, referring to "The land of the setting sun at the West".
Morocco 🇲🇦 is the land of colors and contrast. Full of diversity, where there is not only Sahara desert that looms in the door of High Atlas Mountains picking at 4000 m but also green valleys up north and lovely coastal areas stretching along the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean sea.
New cities go along old cities, traditions persist with modernity, resulting in interesting aspects to witness nowadays.
I shall not forget the Moroccan people, with their hospitality and be welcoming to all the strangers passing by.
So, follow me and discover every day the delightful taste of beautiful Morocco 🇲🇦

⚡For my first Steemit post, I'm going to share with you my love for the mosaic details used in Morocco, which are a famous illustration of the Islamic Art called Zellige.
It is one of the main characteristics of Moroccan architecture. It consists of geometrically patterned mosaics, used to ornament walls, ceilings, fountains, floors, pools and tables. It is the main art to decorate the homes of Rich people as a statement of luxury and sophistication.
In this photo, a simple pattern is used. however, a bronze lion head is used as a fountainhead for the water. In some cases, this is only for ornaments for the fountain. Even some fountains are used as an ornament and do not serve running water.
