This guy reconnected with a lady he once knew and thought he should make a move to woo her. The lady is also coming from a bad experience and decided to give it a try. The first mistake is, this lady hasn’t healed properly and because she hasn’t healed properly, it is obvious that she cannot meet up with the expectations that this guy would demand or expect.
She does not return calls; she will sometimes miss his calls and won’t even call back or reach out. She is too comfortable. She hardly reaches out or chats. She gets in touch only when it is convenient for her and I don’t blame her. This guy accepted this kind of love for too long because he thought this lady is to complete him. He felt he was broken so he accepted the love he thought he deserved.
Like I said, the lady hasn’t healed and she is doing what is best for her heart which is to be expected anyway and this is why I told the guy to do what’s best for his own heart too; discuss with her or leave. The lady is not a bad person, she only need time to heal and this guy doesn’t have the luxury of that time, which is why he is putting pressure and lot of expectations on her. The best thing in a scenario like this is for them to be apart; break except one person is willing to compromise.
When you feel more frustrated than loved in a relationship, I think that is an early warning sign for you to take the high road and walk away. Not every person you come in contact with is worth dating. There are some people you come in contact with just to stay as friends and there are some you help become a person but they don’t necessarily have to become your friend. I have experienced this first hand.
The problem with my friend which I have pointed out to him is that, he felt every lady he comes in contact with is a potential girlfriend or wife to be. That is a very terrible way to view ladies and it will only show his desperation and being taken advantage of is not far-fetched.
