Today I'm rolling old school again with one of my personal favourites, a legendary landrace sativa Colombian Gold, that's been luckily preserved by Undergrounds Seed Collective (I wish they were on steemit) 🌿 💨 🎶
It's a long-flowering strain, that lacks potency, bag appeal or yield by modern standards, but is such a wonderful daytime smoke, and is so different from anything else you can find around these days 🚀
The high is typical for equatorial sativas: clear-headed, uplifting, spiritual and slightly munchy. And it goes perfectly with some freaky 60's psych such as The Fraternity Of Man of "Don't Bogart Me" fame!
This tune is a stoner anthem, so check it out 💨💨💨
It went very well with my late afternoon espresso 🍵
When I'm thinking about it, it was a beautiful plant too... that took 15 weeks to finish when she was sun depped in an air-pot 😎
Buds look like seaweed pre-trim 😃
But the pistil shake was pretty knarly ✪✪✪✪✪
I had many more plants outside growing gorilla style, but they were all busted before harvest by LE unfortunately 🛂
Hmmm... I think it also begs to say this weed was very famous in the 70's! It was smuggled in bricks in Cessna light aircrafts (the same guys later switched to blow), and was dubbed Gold because of its golden hue.
It got tested by Ed Rosenthal at that time, and it showed 15% THC, which means it got to be the most potent imported bud of the period... and still not that far from many nuggs that you can buy in a dispensary today.
BTW, growers and breeders should also know, that it's one of THE VERY FEW quite stable strains LEFT as confirmed by Phylos genetic sequencing, and I second that after running limited population myself!
