How could I forget?
Dogs that like me, even if they've only known me a couple of days, will, given half a chance, lick my face and climb all over me.
I was reminded of this fact this morning when I realised I hadn't done any bodyweight exercises for several days, and I got on the floor to do some push ups and stomach crunches.
No sooner had I lay on my back than I had one, and then two, small cute creatures in my face.
With no regard for personal space, they crawled all over me.
I was one part mildly annoyed because I was trying to achieve something and they were blocking my way. And I was one part surprised and amused by their very behaviour.
I let the annoyance go, knowing I could always do more exercise behind closed doors, and also by remembering that in one weeks time I would have no (cute) dogs wanting to snuggle up to me and so I may as well enjoy it.
Recognising these facts, I laughed, a big deep, rolling belly laugh.
It felt good.
