One of the supports of the community-led movement posted an explanation of the claim on Twitter today, April 28:
Scumbag Roger Ver has really outdone himself this time with his Bcash shilling. I have no idea if what he's doing is illegal but I suspect it could be. I'm unsure of any claims to Bitcoin's logo but I suspect he is violating some consumer protection laws dealing with misleading people.
